SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: How to check tier 1 results when announced

Stay tuned for the latest updates on the SSC CGL Result 2024! The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is gearing up to reveal the results of the tier 1 exam for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) soon. Aspirants will be able to view their results on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in, once they are officially announced. The CGL tier 1 examination took place from September 9 to 26 at various test centers throughout the state. Following the release of the provisional answer key on October 4 and the subsequent closure of the objection window on October 8, the focus now shifts to the imminent declaration of the exam results.

Roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for tier 2 will be listed in the CGL tier 1 result document.

The first-tier examination included multiple-choice questions based on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension in an objective format.

In every segment, there were 25 questions with a maximum of 50 marks allocated to each section.

For successful completion of the examination, candidates from the unreserved category must achieve a minimum of 30 percent marks. OBC and EWS candidates are expected to secure a minimum of 25 percent, whereas candidates from all other categories must attain a minimum of 20 percent marks.

There are a total of 17,727 vacancies in group B and group C to be filled by SSC CGL 2024 across various ministries, departments, organizations of the central government, as well as statutory bodies and tribunals.
