Elon Musk, the Tesla owner who has publicly supported Republican Donald Trump in the presidential race, shared his excitement on social media platform X as the former President surged ahead in early poll results on Wednesday.

On his personal microblogging platform, he posted, “Game, Set, and Match.

On X, Musk, the wealthiest individual on the globe, announced that he would be joining Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for election night.

Trump’s campaign is arranging viewing events for numerous supporters, with locations ranging from his Mar-a-Lago residence to the Palm Beach Convention Center.

Amassing considerable influence, the billionaire in the tech industry has positioned himself as a key supporter of Trump, contributing over $119m (£91.6m) during this election period to America PAC, a political fund he established to endorse the ex-president.

A proposed class action lawsuit was filed against Elon Musk on Tuesday by registered voters who had endorsed his petition in favor of the Constitution to participate in his $1 million daily giveaway, alleging that the initiative was deceitful.

In a lawsuit brought forth by Jacqueline McAferty, an Arizona resident, to the federal court in Austin, Texas, it is alleged that Elon Musk and his America PAC misled voters into signing up by falsely representing that winners would be selected randomly, when in fact, they had already been chosen.

The defendants were also accused of benefiting from the promotion by increasing traffic and visibility for Musk’s X social media platform. Additionally, they were alleged to have gathered personal details like her name, address, and phone number for potential sale.
