Lakshya, who was recently seen in the movie Kill, has secured a new role in a project under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. In this upcoming film, he is set to star alongside Ananya Panday. Lakshya teased the announcement of the movie through a post on Instagram, suggesting that the reveal might happen today. While specific information about the project remains undisclosed, this marks the debut partnership between the two actors.

Taking a departure from his usual action-packed characters, Lakshya is gearing up to portray a romantic protagonist in an upcoming project scheduled for release in 2025. The movie is said to be helmed by Vivek Soni, renowned for directing “Meenakshi Sundareshwar,” which starred Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in 2021.

In a surprising turn of events for 2024, Lakshya’s latest film, Kill, emerged as a sleeper hit. Playing the role of an NSG commando alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala, the movie, helmed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and backed by Dharma Productions, captivated audiences with its gripping action scenes and engaging plot. Yet, there were mixed reactions from critics who deemed its violence levels unsuitable for Indian viewers.
