Legislator Zeeshan Siddique from Mumbai, the son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, bravely stated that despite his father’s killers targeting him, he refuses to be intimidated. With the courage and strength flowing in his veins like that of a lion, he proudly embraces his fierce determination.

On the night of October 12, tragedy struck as Baba Siddique, a former minister from Maharashtra, was fatally shot near Zeeshan Siddique’s office in the Bandra area of Mumbai, allegedly by three individuals.

Bandra (East) MLA Zeeshan Siddique expressed, on X’s platform, that despite the silencing of his father, he inherits the roar of a lion and the fighting spirit for justice and change. The unwavering courage demonstrated in facing storms runs through his veins.

Those aiming at me now that they have vanquished him will soon realize their mistake. I carry the fierce spirit of a lion within me. I remain undaunted and undefeated. Although they have struck one down, I emerge in his stead. The battle continues. Presently, I occupy the very spot where he once stood: VIBRANT, UNWAVERING, and PREPARED. I convey my everlasting presence to the community of Vandre East,” he concluded.

10 individuals have already been apprehended by law enforcement in relation to the murder of Baba Siddique, with authorities actively seeking the primary gunman and two suspected accomplices.

Police are still determining the motive behind the murder and exploring different angles, including a potential connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
