Realtor Found Dead In Burning Fortuner Was Choked To Death By Friends: Cops

Sanjay Yadav, a real estate agent from Ghaziabad, was not killed in a fire, as initially suspected. Police investigations reveal that his charred body discovered in a Toyota Fortuner SUV was a result of being strangled to death with a dog leash by his acquaintances Vishal and Jeet following a drinking session.
After the arrest of the defendants, investigations unveiled that they plundered Yadav’s jewelry, placed his remains in the SUV, and ignited it. The burnt-out SUV was discovered in a wooded region in Dadri during the evening of Monday, revealing the presence of Sanjay Yadav’s body within.
According to the police, the family members reported that Yadav had gone to meet his friends Vishal Rajput and Jeet Choudhary, suspecting them of being involved in his murder. Subsequently, a case was filed, and the suspects were apprehended.
Vishal and Jeet confessed to the police that they killed Yadav in order to steal cash and jewelry. According to the authorities, the victim had come to see them on Monday evening, and they all drank beer together. Subsequently, Vishal and Jeet reportedly strangled Yadav using a dog collar and took his valuables. They then placed Yadav’s body in the back seat of the SUV and ignited the vehicle using petrol. Jeet sustained minor burns during the act of setting the SUV on fire, as per the police statement.

Ashok Kumar, Additional DCP of Greater Noida, disclosed that Vishal Rajput and Jeet Choudhary allegedly intoxicated Yadav, strangling him with a dog collar before burning the SUV, with him inside, in a remote location. The perpetrators have been arrested and are currently under investigation.
