A threat on Salman Khan’s life has surfaced: The Mumbai Police Traffic Control unit has been notified about a message received from an individual purporting to be the sibling of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Salman Khan faced a death threat: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly issued a fresh threat directed at Bollywood star Salman Khan, insisting that he must either seek forgiveness at a temple for the purported black buck incident or compensate with ₹5 crore.
The Traffic Control unit of the Mumbai Police was contacted on Monday by someone asserting to be the sibling of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This individual issued a warning that Salman Khan would face harm if he did not meet specific demands.
The message threatened Salman Khan, stating that in order to ensure his safety, he must either offer an apology or pay a fine of ₹5 crore at the Bishnoi community temple. Failure to comply will result in severe consequences as the gang remains operational.
Sources have revealed that the police are investigating the source of the threatening message and have increased security measures for Salman Khan. Furthermore, they are exploring potential connections between the message and Lawrence Bishnoi, currently incarcerated on multiple charges, such as attempted murder and extortion.
According to Mumbai Police, the registration process for the case concerning a threat to Actor Salman Khan is currently in progress at Worli Police Station. They are actively tracing the origin of the threatening message. This information was reported by news agency ANI.
Salman Khan has previously received menacing messages concerning his wellbeing.
In the previous month, a death threat was sent to the Bollywood megastar, coupled with a request for a payment of ₹2 crore. This led to the initiation of a police investigation and the subsequent arrest of a Bandra resident in Mumbai on October 30th.
On October 29th, an anonymous message was received by the Mumbai Traffic Police, containing a threat to kill the 58-year-old actor unless a sum of ₹2 crore was paid.
The Worli police initiated a case against an unknown individual and commenced an inquiry. The following day, a man named Azam Mohammed Mustafa, residing in Bandra (East), was apprehended by the police on suspicion of issuing a recent death threat to Salman Khan and requesting ₹2 crore from him.
In the upscale neighborhood of Mumbai called Bandra (West) lies Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, which was targeted by two attackers on motorcycles who opened fire in April.
In the previous month, the WhatsApp helpline operated by the Mumbai traffic police was targeted with a threatening message demanding a ransom of ₹5 crore from a well-known actor. Subsequently, law enforcement apprehended an individual from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, believed to be linked to the menacing communication.
Last month, a man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended by the Mumbai Police for reportedly threatening Salman Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique with death. Zeeshan Siddique’s father, Baba Siddique, had been tragically killed by three assailants in Bandra (East) on October 12.
Salman Khan was previously targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate, which issued death threats against him. In a chilling incident, individuals believed to be linked to the notorious gang even fired shots outside the actor’s residence in Bandra in April. Just a few months ago, the Navi Mumbai law enforcement thwarted a sinister scheme orchestrated by the Bishnoi group to eliminate Salman Khan, prompting a significant enhancement in his security measures.
